Character doesn't matter, except when it does

When Bill Clinton engaged in sexual relations with a subordinate White House staffer in the Oval Office, character didn't matter. When Donald Sterling, the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers made racist remarks to his girlfriend in a taped private conversation, character did matter.

Funny how that works.

That's because the DC Empire demands conformity. Like the Soviet Union, its subjects must not question Approved Thought.

President Clinton was impeached. He is one of the very few people to have this humiliation bestowed on him. He didn't exactly catch a break.

President Clinton was also dis-barred by a woman judge who witnessed his lies in her court room.
